Overall, this tour was fantastic because you get to see a lot of Seattle and get to hit the typical tourist spots worth seeing. In addition, Capt Steve knew so much about the city and kept everyone entertained the whole way. It was wonderful! As others may have mentioned, though, while this says it is a 4-hour tour, it ended up being about 5.5-6 hours long. Capt Steve did ask the group in the beginning if we had places to be and since no one said anything, we trekked on throughout the city for the majority of the day. Overall, superb tour and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Seattle.

We even had some unscheduled stops at some amazing views points to enhance our experience. Jasper told us a lot about the area and the history and tried to answer all of our questions as best he could. He was extremely approachable and took the effort to speak to us all and find out where we were from and our plans.

We had all been to Seattle 10 years ago when my husband and I got married. So much has changed since then, and Joel took us to places we never even thought of going. He gave us so much history and knowledge of areas of the city that you really don't get to see...wether you drive yourself or not...spots of such amazing views that I was enthralled with the city again. He kept us entertained with stories of the neighborhoods we toured through. Joel made sure to take pictures for us of all of us with some great shots in the background. He took us to great spots for pictures and videos ALL over town.
HIGHLY recommend this group! Even now when we are not fully open, he made sure to take us to places we could go into and get items during the tour. We stopped at Pike Place Market for lunch, and he made sure we knew what was open, what different types of food were available and where open restrooms were located.
It is a city steeped in history and we heard all kinds of stories about all the areas we went through.
The van is comfortable, Joel made sure we were comfortable during the entire trip and talked from the time he picked us up until he dropped us off.
Would highly recommend this tour.

  Enjoyed this road trip from the very moment we contacted Tours North West, to initially find out our previously paid for tour booking had disappeared without our money making it... read more to the tour provider.
They very kindly allowed us to fill two seats on the next day’s tour. Next morning a five minute stroll had us at the pick up / drop off point and on time along came John our Tour Guide and Bus Driver.
The rest of the day was filled with interesting facts, figures, amazing sights and ample chances to explore the different locations we stopped at as well as take nourishment. Oh the photos we took and amazing as they were they really didn’t do the Mountain or scenery, full justice. You have to see it to believe it.
Mount Rainier is visible from Seattle which tells us that it has Mass but when you find yourself below it the experience is Humbling to say the very least.
As an Active Volcano which last erupted some 5,000 years ago and is expected to do so again I’m pleased to say I have had the chance to see it in it’s dormant phase.
Do yourself a huge favour and if your going to Seattle in Washington State, get in touch with Tours North West and ask to be seated on John’s Bus - you won’t regret it!
This was indeed money well spent and I would do this tour again, in a heart beat.

  The tour guide was very knowledgeable. We were lucky it was a clear day and we were able to view mount rainier for most of the drive there. On the... read more way there and back you stop at a grocery store for a bathroom break, drinks and snacks. It also has a Starbucks inside. Also on the way there and back you stop At a scenic viewpoint with Mount rainier in the background for pictures. We hiked down to a waterfall, we made it up to the visitor center a little over 5000 feet, and we were able to see and play with a lot of snow. The company also provide snow chains for your shoes, gloves, and other accessories if needed. Make sure to wear her snow shoes and warm clothes including gloves you will have a hard time if you are wearing tennis shoes. The tour guide even went above and beyond returning my daughters camera the next morning to our hotel that she left on the bus. My daughter is 10 and she did very well on this tour. It is a long day of travel but the views and seeing Mount Rainier are worth it. They are honest people and I would definitely recommend this tour.
