Description

Experience the Magic of Skagit Valley’s Tulip Festival

Let us take the wheel as you embark on a scenic and comfortable journey north to the breathtaking Skagit Valley in Mt Vernon, home to one of America’s most spectacular floral celebrations. Immerse yourself in a vibrant sea of tulips and daffodils, stretching across hundreds of acres in the nation’s largest tulip-growing region. Stroll through endless fields of color, engage with expert growers to learn about these iconic blooms, and even take home award-winning bulbs or fresh bouquets to brighten your day. Your tour includes visits to both RoozenGaarde and Tulip Valley Farms, two must-see destinations during this dazzling seasonal event.

RoozenGaarde: A Customer Favorite

Named after the Dutch word for “Rose Garden,” RoozenGaarde is owned by the Roozen family, who have spent generations cultivating world-renowned tulips. Each year, the garden is thoughtfully redesigned and replanted, ensuring a fresh and spectacular display. Beyond the curated gardens, over 50 acres of vibrant tulip and daffodil fields stretch into the distance, creating a breathtaking panorama.

With 200 tulip varieties, 50 daffodil types, and other specialty blooms, there’s beauty at every turn. Capture the perfect photo by the iconic Dutch windmill, browse the charming gift shop for a keepsake, or enjoy a tasty snack, drink, or dessert from the onsite stand.

Lunch in Historic La Conner

Midday, we’ll visit La Conner, a charming waterfront village named "The Town That Most Captures The Northwest Spirit" by Evening Magazine’s viewer poll. Wander through its walkable streets lined with locally owned boutiques, galleries, and specialty shops. Savor a delicious meal at one of its award-winning restaurants, all while enjoying stunning views of the Swinomish Channel and the chance to spot local wildlife in their natural habitat.

Tulip Valley Farms: A One-of-a-Kind U-Pick Experience

New this year, Tulip Valley Farms was recognized as the “World’s Most Scenic Tulip U-Pick Experience” at the World Tulip Summit in October 2024. Your tour includes the opportunity to pick your own stunning bouquet from this 12-acre tulip wonderland, featuring:

      • The largest u-pick tulip farm on the West Coast
      • 15 miles of grass walking trails between the vibrant tulip rows
