Description

Embark on a delightful wine-tasting adventure through Washington's acclaimed estate wineries. Your journey begins as you traverse Seattle's iconic Evergreen Point Bridge, the world's second-longest floating bridge, offering breathtaking views over Lake Washington. Arriving in the charming town of Woodinville, just a short drive from Seattle, you'll discover why Washington ranks as the second-largest wine producer in the U.S., consistently crafting top-scoring wines.

Discover Woodinville: A Wine Lover’s Haven
Woodinville, home to over 130 wineries, offers an unparalleled wine-tasting experience. While the vineyards themselves are nestled three hours away in Eastern Washington, this tour brings the flavors and stories of the region right to your glass.

Goose Ridge Wines: Start your journey by sampling the exquisite wines, hard ciders or spirits at the Goose Ridge tasting room, a boutique gem where the passion behind every pour shines through in every smile. Here you will have a choice to sample 5 wines. Specially curated tasting to feature the best of Goose Ridge and the Goose Gap AVA. A mix of whites and reds to capture the best of the season. Our vineyards are located on a ‘saddle’ of land called Goose Gap, in the Columbia Valley, between Red Mountain and the Horse Heaven Hills. Arvid Monson’s initial vision for growing grapes on this land was validated first by Walter Clore, the visionary behind Washington’s wine industry, in 1998. Today, the Monson family owns the largest contiguous estate vineyard in Washington State, with more than 2,200 acres of vineyards producing world-class fruit. **Tasting fees ($25-$35 average) are not covered by the cost of the tour but are often waived with a minimum purchase.

Drive Row Cider Tasting: Tasting of four Seasonal rotating flavors. The Monson family has been growing apples in the Yakima Valley since the 1950s. They are well-regarded for their modern growing techniques and high quality fruit. Careful attention to natural resources and the seasonal growing conditions (much in the same way grapes are treated) allows for maximum production of exceptional fruit every year.

Monson Ranch Distillers Tasting: Featuring Wine based Spirits. 4 tastes of our current line up of spirits. Including our VIDO Vodka, Feather & Folly Gin, and 5 Arrow Brandy. Monson Ranch Distillers is led by the third and fourth generations of Monson farmers together with Master Distiller Brian Morton to create uniquely crafted winegrape and grain-based spirits.

Light Lunch

Next, enjoy a curated lunch experience at Village Wines. Your guide will provide a menu so you can pre-order and spend more time exploring their extensive wine selection. Savor your meal while indulging in a variety of reds, whites, and blends, perfect for sharpening your palate and uncovering nuanced tasting notes.

Chateau Ste. Michelle:

After lunch, you’ll visit the renowned Chateau Ste. Michelle, a staple of the region’s wine scene. Stroll the elegant estate with a flight of their signature wines in hand, making it a stop to remember. Be sure to visit the charming boutique shop, where you'll find not only wine accessories but also a delightful selection of local goodies and unique gifts. The Chateau is closed Mondays and Tuesdays in the winter so a  stop at Woodinville Whiskey Company will be substituted.

Snoqualmie Falls: A Scenic Escape

From Woodinville, the tour transitions to the breathtaking beauty of Snoqualmie Falls. Along the way, enjoy the lush Pacific Northwest scenery, framed by the Cascade Mountains, seasonal flower farms, fruit stands, and the tranquil Snoqualmie River. Keep an eye out for historical landmarks—and perhaps a glimpse of local wildlife.
At Snoqualmie Falls, marvel at the stunning 270-foot cascade. Capture postcard-worthy photos from the upper and lower observation decks, wander through serene gardens and trails, and browse a charming gift shop for unique souvenirs.
This tour is a seamless blend of indulgence and natural beauty, promising unforgettable moments at every stop.

Sweet Indulgence

If time permits, your guide may treat you to a sweet indulgence with a quick stop at Boehm's Chocolate Factory. Here, you can enjoy a frozen banana or ice cream bar dipped in their delightful chocolate, all tucked away in their charming gift shop.
